Benoît Huerre makes abstract paintings using different techniques: glaze, pouncing, oil pastel, oil painting…

His favorite supports for painting are wood - which he used to mount on canvas - and aluminium. He developed a very personal glaze technique, which gives his paintings all their vivacity.

He suffered a CVA which left him handicapped; painting became his way of transcending the limits of his disability.

His work is an invitation to meditation and contemplation.
